We strongly condemn and bemoan the armed attack perpetrated in front of a synagogue in the city of Halle, Germany.

It is particularly saddening that this anti-Semitic attack targeting the Jewish community took place on the most holy day of the year for the Jewish people, Yom Kippur.

We are against all radical movements such as anti-Semitism, Islamophobia, anti-Christianity and xenophobia. These all are threats to humanity. We must fight against these radical movements together.

We convey our condolences to the people of Germany and Jewish community, and hope that the perpetrators of this heinous attack wounding the conscience of the international public opinion will be brought to justice.
